The Rosemary Beach Unleashed mural project and community festival presented Dec. 4, 2011 raised $10,000 to benefit Alaqua Unleashed and Rosemary Beach Foundation.
The six-panel mural was created by nine visual artists -- Allison Wickey, Eileen West, Lauren Carvalho, Paul DeDenus, Jane Dunworth, Emily Fossum, Henry Nooe, Kristina Perry, and Amanda Rhodes -- from photographs of 92 pets submitted by their owners.
The murals are currently on display at Rosemary Beach St. Augustine Park until Feb. 6, 2012. The will then be transported to Alaqua Unleashed (formally known as the Bark Park) on J.D. Miller Road in Santa Rosa Beach. The park is located on 18 acres of county-owned land.
The park has recently seen a variety of improvements including a spacious parking area, restroom facility, information center, refreshments, landscaping and a variety of dog training classes. This community space shares a joint mission to provide exercise and recreation for their canines and bring the community closer through musical and artistic social venues.

Rosemary Beach Foundation presents a check to Alaqua from proceeds generated from Rosemary Beach Unleashed murals.
