Cantina Laredo Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food presents their annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday May 5, 2 p.m. – 11 p.m. This family-friendly event takes place at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard and at Cantina Laredo’s restaurant. Enjoy authentic Latin music by Tropisound, a six-piece salsa band, dancing and contests. A salsa dancing contest, face-painting, crafts, door prizes, food, drinks and displays by various Grand Boulevard stores in Grand Park will be included
This event kicks off early with a special appearance by Dora the Explorer from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Grand Park, courtesy of Learning Express Toys. Dora will be available to meet children and pose for pictures. Fusion Art Glass will exhibit the art of glass blowing live by artist and gallery owner Russ Gilbert. Fusion Spa Salon Aveda will offer chair messages and teaser treatments. A special margarita cocktail from Cantina Laredo has been created for the event called Cinco Mas Rita made with Cabo Wabo Silver and four other premium tequilas for $5. Usually when we are down we try to stay on 30A for meals but this is one must have meal during our stay. The food was delicious and great service. The sangria was not bad at all either. A very pleasant place to dine.
