    Looking for a small car for around the $2000-@2500 range

    My 19 year old son is in need of his first car to get to work and to college classes this next school year. He has cash and it doesn't have to be perfect but it does need to be in decent shape. An absolute must is that it is a smaller car, no trucks. He can spend $2000 to around $2500 give or take a hundred with no transmission problems.     One more thing, no standards, it must be an automatic transmission.
