Pensacola paper says, 'We are the authentic Emerald Coast'
Interesting opinion piece at Pensacola News Journal
"... But the BP bonanza will end. And Walton county will spend $10.8 million this year on beach tourism. Our expenditures for tooting our own horn remain, well, austere and too untootedness."
I'm not sure what he is arguing for (or against) in that editorial, but with respect to the Walton County tourism budget and the BP bonanza ending, what percent of the marketing budget over the last year was actually funded by BP?
