Our dog always stays in the room where we are. If we are in different rooms she stays either with me or the person who is still in bed. She sleeps in bed with us, but doesn't like being under the covers because she can't protect us then. She starts out the night with her head on a pillow next to us to get a little petting, but soon she turns so she can face the door (again, to protect us). She always sleeps on top of a pillow. So I guess she goes through 9.
Not spoiled at all. :)
