    Come experience an intro into collage and paper with encaustic technique. You will be introduced to the basics of encaustic on paper. You’ll explore works on paper including creating one of a kind prints and layering with pigmented beeswax. You will also explore the natural translucency that occurs with the saturation of the beeswax into the paper.

    Develop techniques working with heat and the relationship to surface and texture and make a series of related pieces. We will also discuss works on paper involving large scale printing and photography.
