    Must do in South Walton?

My husband and I will be spending next week in Sowal. What are things we really shouldn't miss seeing or doing? What restaurants should we be sure to enjoy? What sights are too good to miss? Thanks for any insights!

Bud & Allys for sunset. Red Bar. Seagrove Village Market for grouper sandwich and ICED TEA. Barefoot BBQ in Seaside. Christiano's. Local Catch. Stinky's for breakfast. Shorty's in Grayton. Pizza Bar (order the Funghi-if you like mushrooms. I have dreams about this thing.)
    And of course....THE BEACH!

What DD said. Plus you must drive down 30A eastbound and see the pine canopy across Western Lake, actually visit one of the coastal lakes (like Deer Lake). Since there's just two of you, have dinner at the bar at Borago and meet one of the J girls (or any one their fantastic bartenders/waiters there). The two-for-one at Cafe Thirty-A. Stinky's for lunch. Pedicures for you both at Jade Nails at Gulf Place before or after eating at Stinky's while you're at that end of the beach. See how far you can walk on the beach.

Our new favorite thing to do is get a pizza, take it and a cooler down to the beach for sunset! Other favorites: ride bikes whenever possible....visit either Rosemary, Alys or Seaside for an outside event (check the calendar). Happy Hour at Caliza in Alys. Other must visit restaurants: Onano, Edward's, Wild Olives, Georges, Seagrove Market, Charlie's Donut Truck, PizzaBar, Red Bar, Stinky's, Barefoot BBQ....sooooo much to do!

For a nice romantic dinner and the best view of the Gulf, head over to the Vue on 30A! Chef Giovanni from Hell's Kitchen can whip up something yummy for you:)

You absolutely "must" remember you are on vacation and just chill out and relax.
