Share the Shelter Music Fest is a benefit for Shelter House and Alaqua Animal Rescue.




The concert, slated for Saturday, September 29, will return to the amphitheater at Gulf Place on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach. Local favorites Daphne Willis, Bryan Kennedy and Chris Alvarado are confirmed to perform at the event, among many others.

Concert goers should expect a full day of music, food and fun. Dogs will be allowed at this year’s event, and VIP passes as well as discounted tickets for children will be available for purchase. Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 15.

The 2011 concert drew more than 500 music fans and brought in over $21,000 for Shelter House and Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Share the Shelter News - volunteers needed now and day of event.

We are recruiting volunteers for team captains, check in, registration, bartending, recycling, parking, security and merchandise sales. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt and are invited to work part of the day and sit back, relax and enjoy the music the rest of the day!

Be part of this second annual event where Alaqua Animal Refuge and Shelter House team up to raise awareness about the link between animal abuse and domestic violence. This daylong celebration of music and social change features musicians, food, artists and even a doggie play area. 100% of the profits from the event will go towards giving women, children and animals a second chance at life.

Wow what a fun locals event!! Entertained all day and night by our local musicians. Love the Gulf Place venue. And the food vendors were awesome!!!

The weather was a little HOT with zero breeze - my only complaint. but it was tolerable mostly.

Very impressed with Shelter House & Alaqua's coordination and oversight of the whole event. They worked so hard and it was a big success. Michelle, Director of Shelter House, said that they are already planning for next year. Yay!!!
