Walton County emergency management less than exemplary

This is ridiculous on its face! The goal of emergency management is complete co-ordination with all comunities and surrounding counties in the face of any type emergency situation. The state should be offering constructive criticism and advice, not grading individual counties by a written survey. It destroys the the coordinative effort to do otherwise. Surveys don't cut it. They need to send qualified individuals to the counties to review emergency plans and criteria and make constructive suggestion on the spot.

Hey, you guys elected Scott so don't be upset with his idiotic policies....I would even wager that if you look at the credentials of his regional director for DEM LeBlanc, that you would find them to be marginal at best.

Walton County EOC is going to be fine and with the support system in place with Okaloosa and Bay County, our area is in good hands for emergencies....
