So Wal Experiences with Direct TV/Century link "triple play"
I;ve had Mediacom for twelve years, now with bundled package of internet, phone and cable. We are moving and we are considering the Century Link/Direct TV option.. Opinions of those who have Direct TV much appreciated. I know the good and bad with Mediacom....

We have direct tv- we like it. Sometimes you lose connection in bad weather but it's usually not long. Husband loves football package, which is why we got direct tv.

We are paying wayyyy too much for the "bundle". Not what their ad says. You wll get a seperate bill from Century Link for around $85/month for internet & phone. When we talk to them, they know nothing about a bundle deal with Direct TV. Direct has been billing us $159/mth for the choice package that was supposed to be $69.95/mth. When we try to talk to them, they claim they never offered such a package, thatat he newspaper ad I kept from last year was something I designed and printed and that the confirmation letter and conf #'s I was given are bogus also. Trying to make a switch, but don't know who is much better!

Be wary of upload and download speeds on the internet side. The last time I explored this option they were slower than DLS....
