SoWal Pilates & Beachy Beach 30A team up for grand opening celebration August 23

As the owner of SoWal Pilates, Brittany Lee is ready to share her passion with South Walton as she celebrates her grand opening August 23.

“I’m very excited,”Lee said. “It was always my dream to come back to Florida and open my own business.”
An official ribbon cutting by the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce is set for 4 p.m., celebrating the opening of SoWal Pilates and the newest location of neighboring Beachy Beach 30A real estate.

Whenthe ribbon falls, the party gets started as guests enjoy live music by Sean Dietrich courtesy of Hemingway Construction, hors d'oeuvres provided by Porath and Associates, P.A. and delectable desserts courtesy of Beach Community Mortgage.

Guests are encouraged to bring their business cards for fabulous drawings and giveaways, which include pet goodies from Bow Wow Meow Pet Company, a gift card from George's, SoWal Pilates swag, clothing from Lulelemon, Zoom! Teeth Whitening courtesy of Dr. Dennis Lichorwic, and more.

Also in store for attendees, is a chance to help create a one-of-a-kind live art collaboration led by BEMA artists Mary Hong and Beeb Benson whose art will be showcased and available for purchase in both spaces.

Hilary Farnum, a 15-year veteran in Emerald Coast real estate and topselling Realtor for Watersound Beach, is one of Beachy Beach 30A’sowners, and hopes that the opening of their new location is an authentic reflection of what the company is about.

“We hope our grand opening at our new building just west of Watersound Beach will reflect the atypical vibe of our office,” she said. “It’s not like any other real estate office in town and you will know that the minute you walk in the door. We are professionals, but we want 30A to know how to have fun, to give back, to participate in the creative collaboration that is so authentically 30A.”

Beachy Beach 30A’s unique office space was designed by Margaretten Architectural and the interior by Cerulean Interiors.

As part of the night’s events, both SoWal Pilates and Beachy Beach 30A will be collecting donations for local charities. Beachy Beach will be encouraging attendees to make small donations ($1,$2, $3) to Alaqua Animal Refuge. SoWal Pilates is partnering with Sinfonia Gulf Coast in support of their new collaboration with Sacred Heart's Arts in Medicine initiative where Sinfonia musicians perform throughout the hospital's Walton County campus during the next year.

Attendees will be creatinga one-of-a-kind piece of art that will be auctioned off at the night’s end to benefit Sinfonia.

With the grand opening just weeks away, Lee says she is ready for the big day.

“I will be having a donation only Mat class at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00a.m.,” Lee said. “All proceeds will benefit Sinfonia and their partnership with Sacred Heart Hospital Arts and Medicine.”
