Is there a change from 8 yrs ago?

Ok, we are three couples of a cerain age who usually vacation in different places in the area. We are going to Grayton in September. I am a facebook follower of Grayton Beach, and today the site posted a picture of several stripper-looking women linked to a sports bar site in the area, which was a little jarring, as we love the area for different things. So, hey, if the place has gone in a different direction, that's perfectly understandable, but could you let us know? We live in New Orleans, and want to get away from the boys' club what-happens-here-stays-here experience. We want beautiful beaches, good seafood and fun locals, but nobody wants to go to Hooters. Are we wrong about this new direction?

There has been a lot of change and a lot of newcomers to our beautiful beaches. But for most of us the laid back, genuine experience keeps on keepin' on.

We are in South Walton a lot and have not seen any instance of a stripper atmosphere.
