    Removal of political signs

Isn't it time for the folks that were running in the August primaries to remove their signs from 30A? Most of the canidates have taken care of theirs but it seems like they haven't addressed signage on east 30A. Perhaps Chapman, Murphy and Volcker could get their volunteers out to retrieve them?

It's not just on 30A, I've seen other areas the signs are still out. Every one that puts out signs should come pick them back up no later than a week after the elections have been decided.

There are numerous signs on Hwy 98 as well...please pick them up!

Be careful there are some that are a bit touchy about that.

The Primary is over! Does Mr. Chapman intend to leave signs until November? Perhaps the sign police for South Walton should pick them up and bill the canidates that still have signs out.

I believe all candidates who are still running for office in November would leave signs out. Why would you pick them up in between the primary and the general election? When would you put them back out?

OTOH, there are a few candidates that were quick to go to work removing their signs if they lost or are in uncontested races and those candidates should be appreciated.

BTW, I do not personally know Mr. Chapman or Mr. Day so please don't take my comments as coming from either of them.

Let's not leave out West Ritchie. He still has lots of signs up. As does Marti Coley.

I believe Rep Coley has independent opposition, not sure though have not heard much about them.

IMO, if a candidate is running in Nov., their signs will remain. I'm sure it isn't cheap to put them out. All bear in mind it is election time and it only comes every two years.

My sons and I have made a concerted effort since the election to get all of our signs picked up and stored. If we missed any please message me or call me at 419-7533 and let me know the location. We will get it picked up ASAP. They can also be deposited at the Republican Headquarters on US 98.
