Re: Inlet Beach
goin' coastal, this is where we stay when we come down. We are so close we walk down to beyond where that old pier is to that outflow. We saw around 6 to 8 herons last year every night at dark down by that pier. We love that area.

Re: Inlet Beach
Thanks. We love him! White beard, crooked teeth and all! He turned 12 in March. Always look forward to our trip down there but sure dread boarding him at the vet this year to come down. He was so traumatized last year. First year of being boarded without his mom with him also. They did everything together. My husband thinks boarding him this time could kill him. Already suffers from a mild case of kidney failure. Half tempted to cancel out of dread of leaving him.

Re: Inlet Beach
Lady, not sure if you use your own place or rent but there are plenty of pet friendly rentals. vrbo.com has lots of them and you can bring him with you.

Re: Inlet Beach
Cork, we rent but so many of them will just rent to people with pets that are around 20 lbs or less and he weighs around 100. Would have dog hair everywhere. Has such long hair. I am going through the house daily getting up dog hair. I know of no place we could get beachfront that would allow a 100lb. dog! Most I have looked at say pet friendly for 20 lb. dogs or less. So that automatically leaves us out!

IBD, we have never been to the beach in your neck of the woods. What is the best access (assuming of course one does not have a boat
). What about Camp Helen?

Re: Inlet Beach
SkunkApe,
I am not sure of the easiest way to get there other than boat. You can get there by foot
- Park at the end of Orange St. and walk, it is quite a walk though
- I am not sure if you can park and walk at the state park, I have never tried
- you could park at one of the condos closest to the pier but I am sure some homeowner would hate me for saying that

- You could get through the Pinnacle Port/Carillon gate, park in the parking lot at Pinnacle Port and walk to the beach??

- You could just ride with us on the boat. I am sure that Mr. IBD would love to have another Saints fan to talk to since they are an indangered species
(LOL)

. Do we need a poll on this? Cork is mental or a drunk?
Lady, so sorry about your baby. I can't believe nobody will allow him. One of my clients just had 3 huge dogs in their pet friendly house. I wish you luck. I know how hard it would be to leave him.
He's part of the family and would probably love a romp on the beach. Hope you can find a solution. My best to you.

Re: Inlet Beach
It is where Lake Powell meets the Gulf between Carillon Beach and Camp Helen State Park.
