Didn't it though? I don't have school kids, but I hate that they have to start so early. In a short time, we will be talking about Halloween and then the "C" word. Seems like once school starts, the days really fly by!

DD - you are doing just great - and continue to inspire me. I'm doing well on eating and water, but not in an exercise routine yet. we're planning yoga/pilates tomorrow morning at 8:30. Allifunn and Corky-baby are coming with me.
and jen-ay - I am going to just DIE when school starts next week and I have to get in an early morning routine, but it will help me get in a morning exercise routine. drop the kid off and then off to yoga or biking or gym (if I decide to join) or a work out at home...

Thanks for thinking of me DD and JR - feeling a lot better today now that the antibiotics have kicked in and I got some rest. Wish I'd realized sooner that there was more going on than just allergies and asthma (always my first inclination JR - but it had been getting steadily worse since the beginning of last week.)
Been catching up on my reading here on Sowal.com - I see Cork made an appearance after a long absence! Keep up the good work Gulls. I'm so out of it, gotta get back to 100% and and back into my routine!

Re: SoWell on Sowal
DD, I cannot even believe how good you're doing. Congrats
I totally blew it by eating all of my leftovers from Kurt and Tootsie's last night. The pasta really did me in. Had to eat it all. Couldn't stop -it was sooo delish.
And then was busy all day so no exercise
But will get back on track in AM. Hope we're still on for pilates, Toots and Alli
Lindabob, so sorry you're under the weather sweetie. Hope you get better real soon! My best wishes for a quick recovery.

Wow DD - keep it up girl - did you get a new bathing suit yet to show off in Sowal? (My favorite beach fashion accessory - sarongs in lots of pretty colors and patterns to camouflage the thighs that are a work in progress!)
Cork - thanks for the get well wishes. Thought I was doing better til I hacked up half a lung and woke myself up a little while ago. I am just going to have to get down to Sowal in October and join you gulls for Pilates!
Mango - hope you're feeling better too. And for the record, even if I drank less water, I'd still be peeing far more than should be humanly possibly - I think it has more to do with age than fluid intake!

Sorry hon - waking up at 3AM after taking cold medicine was kind of like PUI. I was in a rare mood. For the record I bought a new suit for my trip to Sowal, but I still haven't worn it (a black Speedo tank with mesh insets at the waist and a little purple trim. Don't have a matching sarong for it - LOL!)

Well I've been forcing myself to exercise and try to get my lungs back in shape - rode the exercycle for 30 mins. while my casserole baked (I don't know that I would serve it to guests, but it worked for me - and plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow.) I'm headed up to have dessert with the kids (strawberries and whipped cream!)

Re: SoWell on Sowal
Cork: Yippee for you!! Good girl!! Maybe we can get in a ride while I'm there!!
Linda: Sounds like you're feeling better...I'm glad.
My day:
Breakfast: Business breakfast, fruit, top of a mini banana nut muffin.
Lunch: Asian grilled chicken salad from McDonalds.
Actually the salad wasn't bad, had the low fat sesame ginger dressing which was very spicy. Just hate McDonalds!
Dinner: Turkey sandwich on wheat with no fat vinagrette. Nectarine. No fat chips.
Water: Probably about 1 1/2 qts.
Walk: Tried to walk Maggie, but some male boxer on the loose came running up, and just about tripped me and just generally pissed Maggie off and so I went to the house where he came from and they said he'd been hanging around for a couple of days. Had tried to call the owner on the tags, but message said she was out of town.
Anyhoo, Maggie and I didn't (couldn't ) get very far because this dog was just annoying. Felt bad for it, but
