WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market is Open Sundays

January 2, 2015 by SoWal Staff

The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market is South Walton's newest open air market featuring a variety of local vendors with baked goods, produce, prepared foods, and crafts. The market takes place in beautiful Cerulean Park every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., year-round.

“We are very excited to introduce the WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market to the community and hope everyone can participate so we can make this a long-lasting tradition at WaterColor,” says WaterColor Community Manager, Brad Yuhas.

The WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market will feature array of food and goodies to choose from with local vendors. Traditional Farmers Market items such as local farm fresh produce, eggs, and dairy products will be available. There will also be a large variety of organic and homemade items such as Greek gourmet foods, hot and jerk sauces, grass fed beef, chicken, and pork. The WaterColor Farmers Market will also include unique hand made crafts such as soaps, jewelry, and art.

“WaterColor is a special community and bringing a unique Farmers Market will only enhance the guests and owners experiences,” says Diane Kolopanas, Owner and Director of 30A Farmers Market LLC. “We look forward to growing the WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market as its own unique entity with special events surrounding the Farmers Market.”

WaterColor is a popular South Walton coastal resort and beach town that eases into its natural surroundings with Southern simplicity and grace. It cultivates a true sense of a place that is timeless, authentic and welcoming for everyone.

Nestled between Western Lake and the neighboring town of Seaside, Watercolor is one of a handful of planned “New Urban” communities that define Scenic 30A. The picturesque neighborhoods and storefronts integrate with our beautiful natural landscape. Elegant homes line the beach next to the stately WaterColor Inn, and residential streets fan out into the beautiful coastal forest of pine trees and palmetto.

The Town Center extends north and south of Scenic 30A. It's a lively area that hosts all types of events, from art shows, to wine tastings, to kid-centered fun, and now the year-round WaterColor Coastal Farmers Market.
