Blast on the Bay Songwriters Festival at Port St Joe

What: Blast on the Bay Songwriters Festival at Port St Joe

Florida's Forgotten Coast will once again play host to a group of musicians and songwriters direct from the streets of Nashville.

Festival performances will consist of over 25 musicians who collectively have written hundreds of hit songs from Faith Hill and George Strait to Jason Aldean and Garth Brooks. Many songwriters from past events will be returning for another great weekend of music and storytelling, in addition, several new faces will be seen at this years “Blast.”

All of the artists really enjoy playing at the nearly dozen venues over the long weekend, from the welcome bonfire on Thursday night to the grand finale on Sunday afternoon at the world Famous Indiian Pass Raw Bar. All shows are FREE of charge, or request a minimal donation, and everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy. Proceeds from this event benefit the Coastal Songwriters Education Coalition Inc., a 501c3 not for profit. We also partner with several other civic and non-profit groups in the area, including the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, the Semper-Fi Sisters, and our local grade schools through songwriting workshops, performances and educational opportunities surrounding this event and others throughout the year.
