CCA Kid's Fishing Tournament at Grayton Beach

The 11th Annual CCA Kid’s Fishing Tournament will be held at Grayton Beach on Sunday, April 24 from noon to 4pm.

Registration will be on the back deck of the Red Bar in Grayton Beach. The first 150 anglers will receive a rod and reel combo provided by Fish Florida, bait and tackle from our friends at Yellowfin Ocean Sports, beach rod holder donated from Ferguson Water Works and an awesome T-shirt graciously given by Samuel Taylor Homes and Luke & Blues custom homebuilders.

The guys from Preble-Rish will be on hand grilling dogs for anyone who is hungry!

The top three anglers from each division will be awarded a medal offered by O’Connell & Associates. First place winners in the boys and girls categories will receive a Gold Pass to Big Kahuna provided by Mainsail Realty.

In addition to the awesome fishing and family fun, look for education stations set up by Florida Fish & Wildlife, Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park as well as the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA). Bill Horn, a retired FWC marine biologist, will also be on hand to teach the children about local fish species identification.

Please note: ALL children must be accompanied by an adult for both registration and while fishing on the beach.
