La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a block party on Sunday, May 4 from 2-7pm. The restaurant’s courtyard will come alive with a DJ, face painting, family friendly games, drink specials, and specialty plates.
Drink specials include $5 house margaritas, $7 Cazadores Blanco margaritas, and $3 Mexican-imported beers. Chef Ben Lillard has crafted specialty dishes for the occasion, including: Fried Soft Shell Crab Quesadillas, Fried Lobster Taco, and Fried Cheesecake.
The food and drink specials will also be offered in-restaurant on Sunday from 11am-9pm. The festivities will continue on Monday, May 5 with specials running during lunch from 11am-3pm and dinner from 5pm-9pm.
Admission to the block party is free and open to the public.
