Coastal Branch Library Prime Time: Native Plants, Pollinators, Wildlife and You
Coastal Branch Library's Prime Time Winter Program presents Jennifer Jones, owner of Nature of the Beach. Jennifer will present a power point presentation on native plants, pollinators, wildlife and you. Jennifer grew up in Atlanta, Ga., and spent her childhood summers in Seagrove Beach when the sand dunes and forests were pristine, wildflowers and wildlife were prolific and most roads were dirt and nameless. Gardening is her passion and she has worked in the horticulture industry for 23 years. She is owner of the gardening business, Nature of the Beach. Her talks focus on habitat minded gardening that concentrates on the use of native plants and wildflowers, the conservation of wildlife in their native ecosystems and the promotion of pollinators that we so desperately need to protect. She volunteers for South Walton Turtle Watch, Florida Lakewatch, Florida Audubon Society and the Bilophilia Center, to name a few.
