Details
What: Do Something Great Day at The Meltdown on 30A
When: Saturday, September 13, 2014
Time: 8:00 am to 4:45 pm

On SEPT 13, from 8am–5pm, The Meltdown on 30A will be accepting donations to benefit Families First Network, the agency for area foster children.

Children at Families First Network are in need of the following items: Diapers, new underwear, socks (all sizes), new or gently used coats, clothing, shoes, toys, games, puzzles, books, and DVDs. The Meltdown on 30A will be giving away a voucher for one free grilled sandwich per drop off.

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to pull together and donate much needed items and volunteer their time to make this room a great place for abused and neglected children to play. This project comes with a $0 budget. It is a community project and will be as big as the hearts in our community. New or gently used items can be dropped off at The Meltdown on 30A in Seaside's Airstream Row.

On SEPT 20, Macaroni Kid locations around the United States will be participating in the 1st Annual “Do Something GREAT Day.” The Meltdown on 30A is united with other communities around the U.S. to show love and support to those in our community that need our help.

The Meltdown on 30A, in support of Okaloosa-Walton Macaroni Kid, will be working with other community partners to help Families First Network, the agency for area foster children in Fort Walton Beach, redecorate their Family Play Room. This room is used daily by children and is in desperate need of a makeover. Come help make a difference in the lives of children who have been affected by abuse or neglect.
