Florida Chautauqua Assembly 2016: A Journey Into America - Life Since Leave It To Beaver
The Florida Chautaqua Assembly returns to Defuniak Springs January 28-31, 2016 where you'll experience performances, exhibits, teas, and presentations to take you on a journey into America from the late 1950s to the present. In other words, life since the television show "Leave it to Beaver" aired in the late 1950s showing an American family which had dinner together, worked for a living and enjoyed many of the innocent things in life.
The child star of the show, Jerry Mathers (a.k.a. "The Beave") is this year's featured keynote speaker.
