Flutterby Arts Festival
The 25th annual Flutterby Festival takes place November 11 and 12 in Watersosund Origins. The Flutterby Festival is an arts, crafts and science festival for the entire family that celebrates the migration of the Monarch Butterfly through out area with art activities, live music, theatre and dance performances, art exhibits and a butterfly parade! Held each November in South Walton, this year's festival takes place in Watersound Origins. The festival is free and open to the public.

As part of the annual tradition, children create their own butterfly wing masterpieces to wear in the butterfly costume parade each afternoon. Kids will also enjoy using their creativity to build other butterfly crafts. Celebrating art and nature, hundreds of butterfly paintings created by Walton County students will be on display throughout the festival.

This children's arts event showcases the talent of our local students at the Flutterby Festival, celebrates their artistic expression and creativity, and helps raise funds that will go back into their classrooms through educational grants.
