Hands Across the Sand at Ed Walline Park
Come out to Gulf Place on the beach at Ed Walline Park Beach Access and join hands with your neighbors on Saturday, May 20 at noon. Stand up, join hands and show your support for clean energy. This year more than ever we need to stand up for our pristine beaches and coastal lands and say NO to offshore drilling in Florida. Ed Walline Park is located on Scenic 30A at Gulf Place. Join hands around the globe from New Zealand to Hawaii!
This event will happen on beaches and in cities across the world so people will have an opportunity to join hands and draw a line in the sand against expanding offshore oil drilling, hydraulic fracturing, XL pipeline, tar sands mining, mountain top clearing and championing clean energy for a sustainable planet.
Hands Across The Sand is held annually in Florida and on beaches, waterways and land all around the world. The event is intended to bring awareness about the dangers inherent in securing and burning dirty fuels and to champion a new era of Clean Energy for a sustainable planet for our children and theirs.
Local South Walton event will be held at Ed Walline Park in Gulf Place. Meet just before noon, rain or shine.
A Message to the World
