Saturday, March 7 | 12:30-2 p.m.
Hike to Campbell Lake
Coastal dune lakes are extremely unique and rare worldwide. Come join us as we hike through some of Topsail's best ecosystems culminating with a stop at Campbell Lake. This is an approximately 3 mile round trip hike on a paved surface. There are restrooms and water at the halfway point . Enter the park through the main gate and the staff will direct you to tram stop 1. Entry fee is $6.00.

Breakfast with a Ranger 
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park invites you and your family to Breakfast with a Ranger. Join the Rangers of Topsail Hill to learn about the park's history, wildlife and anything in between. This program is ideal for the whole family to enjoy. To cover the cost of food, please bring $5.00, which goes to Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park, or bring your own breakfast. Enter the park through the main gate and park staff will direct you to the clubhouse.
 
Saturday, March 14 | 12-2 p.m.
Surf Fishing 
Surf fishing is a popular sport along the beaches of Topsail Hill. This program will teach you what types of bait will work, what times of year certain fish can be caught, and common fish you can catch from the beach. Fishing gear is optional as the park has fishing gear. This program will take place at the Beach Access, park in the Day Use parking area and catch the Noon Tram to the beach. The program will take place upon arrival. This program is for all ages. Enter the park through the main gate and the staff will direct you to the tram stop 1. Entry fee is $6.00.
 
Saturday March 21 | 1-2 p.m.
Tracks 
This all ages program is designed to be a hands on learning experience in the art of tracking. You will learn different types of tracks and which animal makes them. Then you will get to make your own tracks using the same techniques utilized at the parks and you will go on a short hike to see tracks in the wild. Enter the park through the main gate and the staff will direct you to the park's clubhouse. Entry fee is $6.00.
 
Saturday March 28 | 1-2 p.m.
Hike to No Name Lake 
Come shake off the winter cobwebs and get outside for this nature hike. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Rangers will lead you through the various ecosystems that make this park unique. This hike will lead you to one of the lakes in the park, No Name Lake. Be sure to bring your binoculars, sunscreen, and water. Entry fee into the park is $6.00 per car. The hike will leave from Tram Stop 1 in the day use parking area.
