Junior League Touch-A-Truck at Destin Commons

Join the Junior League of the Emerald Coast for the 4th annual Touch-A-Truck event at The Destin Commons on Saturday, April 7th from 10am-2pm.  Touch-a- Truck allows families an opportunity to learn about and tour emergency, construction, city service, and public safety vehicles and equipment. Each vehicle will have a driver present to answer questions and help kids explore. Participants include Destin Fire Department, Eglin Air Force Bomb Squad, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, MedfFight McCuller Crane, Waste Management, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, and much more.

There will also be a variety of family-friendly entertainment on-site including coloring and face painting for the kids and an exciting raffle for adults.

The event will host a horn free hour from 1-2pm for children with special needs and sensitive ears. 

Free treat bag for the first 250 children.

A donation of $2/person and $5/family is suggested for attendance.

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast is an organization of nearly 300 Northwest Florida Panhandle women of diverse backgrounds who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.
