Grayton Beach State Park Adventures in February

Wednesday, February 12 | 10:00 a.m.
Join our Park Services Specialist for a guided walk on the forest trail. Learn about the flora and fauna found on the forest side of the state park. Visit one of the parks wet prairie restoration areas. Participants will meet at the Ranger Station. Appropriate clothing, closed toe shoe, drinking water is required. Insect repellant, sun screen, and hat is optional. This walk will take approximately 1—1 1/2 hours.

Join our Park Services Specialist for “The Dunes are Alive” nature walk Learn about the flora and fauna found in the sand dunes. Discuss the importance of the endangered Choctowhatchee Beach Mouse and see the most photographed tree line on Scenic 30-A. Participants will meet at the Grayton Beach State Park beach parking area. Appropriate clothing, closed toe shoe, drinking water is required. Insect repellant, sun screen, and hat is optional. This walk will take approximately 1 hour.
 
Sorry, for the enjoyment of everyone, pets are not allowed on either of these walks. A fee of $5.00 per vehicle is required for all Day-Use visitors.
