Peanut Butter Jam Charity Concert Benefiting Food For Thought

Neighbors, friends, visitors and the local community are invited to NatureWalk at Seagrove to support Food For Thought at the “Peanut Butter Jam” benefit concert featuring the Forrest Williams Band, Friday, July 10, from 4-7 pm. Admission to the concert is free and complimentary appetizers and beverages will be served. Attendees are asked to bring a plastic jar of peanut butter and/or jelly to help fill Food For Thought’s pantry; 800 jars are distrubuted to children in our community each month. 
 
Food For Thought's mission is to enable children to focus on their development and education by removing the fear and insecurity that comes from not knowing if they will get enough to eat, and, in some cases, knowing that they will not. By providing children with a backpack filled with healthy, easy to prepare food, the organization helps to bridge the weekend gap when students do not have access to free school lunches. Ultimately, Food For Thought empowers children to grow into productive students and healthy, happy children.
