Ahoy! Join us for the 6th Annual Rosemary Beach Unleashed Pet Festival on Sunday, October 9 from 1:30 – 4 pm. The event will be held in St. Augustine Park in Rosemary Beach, FL. All two and four-legged friends are welcome to dress in pirate-themed attire and participate in activities such as First Mate March, Agility Demos, Pawdicures, a Puppy Treasure Hunt, Pirate Ship Photos and other games.

There will also be pet adoptions from Alaqua, raffles throughout the afternoon, and a silent auction. Enter your favorite canines in a variety of contests: Best First Mate, Best Costume, Best Trick, Best Owner/Pet Look-A-Like, Best Small Dog, Best Large Dog, Best Rescue Pet, and Best of Show! ($5 suggested donation to enter contests)

It's also not too late to see your pets in print! With a donation of $110, your favorite canines will be on a Rosemary Beach Unleashed event poster! You will receive 1 poster (11x17") to keep and 1 poster will be displayed in our local area! Deadline extended until September 28! A great time is had by all from families to their beloved dogs, and Alaqua is fortunate enough to be the co-beneficiary each year, "  says Laurie Hood, Alaqua Animal Refuge founder. "It is a wonderful community festival and we are so grateful to be part of it."

Alaqua Animal Refuge is a no-kill animal refuge located in Northwest Florida. The refuge has placed over 11,000 animals of all kinds since it's inception in 2007, and has grown to become a recognized leader in animal welfare and animal cruelty prevention.

Rosemary Beach Foundation provides cultural, educational and charitable activities for residents and visitors of Walton County while continuing to support local charities and community projects. Annual programs include Music in Pictures, Girls Getaway Weekend, Rosemary Beach Unleashed, and Walk Her Way.
