Slated for this April 10-13, the Sandestin Wine Festival is known as the “Kentucky Derby of Wine Festivals.” It will be a picture perfect event complete with white tents, the tasting of hundreds of wines, culinary treats and live music.
Now in its 28th year, guests are invited to “uncork some fun in the sun,” and see why the Sandestin Wine Festival receives accolades from media around the country.
Four days of unique events held in The Village of Baytowne Wharf, the heart of Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, will include the following:
Thursday, April 10
Wine Dinners at Sandestin’s Village of Baytowne Wharf. Village restaurants will offer specially prepared menus paired with wines.
Friday, April 11
Champagne & Seafood Guide, 12-3 p.m. Enjoy champagne and a delicious seafood lunch aboard the Solaris. Featuring a dockside reception and four course pairing menu. Location: Solaris located at Sandestin’s Baytowne Marina
Grand Wine Tasting, 5-8 p.m. The pouring of hundreds of domestic and international wines makes for a grand event, and offers a rare opportunity to learn about the finest appellations from major producing countries in all varieties, styles and price ranges.
Delicious Food Pairings Interact with the region’s hottest chefs, while sampling foods to pair with wine.
Retail Tent, 2- 9 p.m. Purchase your favorite wine or spirits at a special Wine Festival discount.
Saturday, April 12
Grand Wine Tasting, 1-5 p.m.
The pouring of hundreds of domestic and international wines makes for a grand event, and offers a rare opportunity to learn about the finest appellations from major producing countries in all varieties, styles and price ranges. Individuals must be at least 21 years of age to taste wines.
Retail Tent, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Purchase your favorite wine or spirits at a special Wine Festival discount.
Sunday, April 13
Sunday Brunch by the Bay Enjoy scenic views of the Bay, music and the charming marina while treating yourself to a delicious Sunday Brunch featuring wonderful champagnes.
Retail Tent, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Purchase your favorite wine or spirits at a special Wine Festival discount.
The Village of Baytowne Wharf is always open to the public. Even during special events, guests are welcome to visit the shops and merchants. Non drinking festival guests are welcome to attend the Grand Wine Tasting with their friends at no charge--they will not receive a wristband.
