The Seaside Institute is very excited to offer the homeowners and visitors of Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and all of our neighbors in between a unique arts event that celebrates the beauty of our town and its people through plein air painting. A dozen artists will bunk in the new Seaside Institute Academic Village located in the Seaside Lyceum from October 14 - 20. After painting for five days, the painters will frame their art work and it will be on display in the new Seaside Assembly Hall, which is located in the Lyceum as well -- directly across the lawn from the Seaside Neighborhood School. Cash prizes will be given, a raffle is being held and all of the paintings will be available for sale. Proceeds from the plein air events will benefit the Seaside Institute and the Seaside Neighborhood School.
