Seaside Prize Award Ceremony Honoring Senator Bob Graham
The Seaside Institute will award this year’s Seaside Prize to Senator Bob Graham. The Seaside Prize is awarded annually to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the quality and character of our communities.
Senator Bob Graham is the former two–term governor of Florida and served for 18 years in the United States Senate. This is combined with 12 years in the Florida legislature for a total of 38 years of public service.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Seaside Prize ceremony, honoring Senator Graham, will be held at the Seaside Chapel on February 2 at 5:00pm. Following this prestigious ceremony will be a special Seaside Prize reception and dinner that will be held at 115 Seaside Avenue at approximately 7:00pm.
The cost is $80, which includes wine and passed hors d'oeuvres. Tickets

Past recipients include Scott Merrill in November of 2011, a nationally recognized architect with local ties to the place where the Seaside Prize originated and Dhiru Thadani in January of 2011, a renowned architect and urbanist.
