Have a fun-filled evening kicking off the 4th of July holiday weekend at the 5th Annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ and Fireworks Festival at Destin Commons, July 3 from 2-10 pm.
Twenty area restaurants and BBQ aficionados will light up their grills to prepare their best dishes. Starting at 5 pm, for $1 per sampling, people get to vote for People’s Choice winners with proceeds benefiting Building Homes for Heroes, Children in Crisis and Food For Thought.
Kid’s activities, street performers, and continuous live music, including The Wide Open (formerly Season Ammonds Band) Heritage and other local favorites will keep the party going.
