Treasure Mapping Your Life at Emerald Coast Meditation Society
“Treasure Mapping Your Life" is the title of a talk to be given April 18 to the Emerald Coast Meditation Society. Speaker will be Glenda Wood, a real estate sales agent who also works at Gulf Coast State College as English Learning Manager.
The meeting will start with a 30-minute meditation at 6:30 p.m. at John A. Horton Senior Center in Santa Rosa Beach, just north of Hwy. 98 on Hwy. 393. The ECMS is ecumenical and does not follow any religion. There is no charge.
Wood's presentation will be an interactive one on how to get the life you want. It will deal with choices as she asks: “See it to believe it, or believe it to see it?” Each person will design a small “treasure map.” People are asked to bring a magazine to cut up.
The evening will conclude with a short guided meditation. The ECMS meets on the first and third Thursday of every month except July and August. Anyone who needs meditation instruction should arrive by 6:15 p.m. For information contact Nancy James, firstname.lastname@example.org.
