What: Volunteer to Help Restore Marine Environment with the CBA

The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA) needs volunteers to help restore critical estuarine habitat in the Choctawhatchee Bay.

Friday June 7 | 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
South Walton Center
of Northwest Florida State College
109 Greenway Trail
Santa Rosa Beach, FL 

You will be bagging oyster shells at the above location and placing them in the water at a reef site less than five miles away, near Point Washington. You'll be traveling as a group - some transportation to the reef site is available.

Bring a towel, sunscreen, bug spray and a hat, as well as water and snacks.
Wear gloves & clothes/close toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty & wet
