What: Walk for Williams Syndrome at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park
When: Saturday, June 14, 2014
Time: 9:00 am to 12:45 pm

Walk for Williams will take place at Topsail Hill State Park JUN 14 from 9am-1pm. Registration begins at 9am, walk to follow at 10am. Cost is $20 per individual or $50 for a family of four.

Enjoy family activities such as, face painting, music, volleyball, paddleboarding, scavenger hunt, raffle, nature talk by a park ranger, and more! Remember to bring beach towels, blankets, and swimsuits to join in on the beach party! Lunch will be provided by Seagrove Market Cafe following the walk.

Williams Syndrome is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone. It is characterized by medical problems, including cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning disabilities. These occur side by side with striking verbal abilities, highly social personalities, and an affinity for music.  Williams syndrome affects 1 in 10,000 people worldwide.
