Walton Area Chamber Women’s Symposium @ Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa
The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 4th Annual Women’s Symposium on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 8:30am til 4:30pm at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Presented by Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, this year’s theme of Empowering Women promises to bring a packed house with a number of widely accomplished guest speakers.
An extraordinary line up of powerful industry leaders have been confirmed to speak throughout the day including Suzi Lemen, CEO of Dynamic Corporate Solutions, Inc.; Sandy Bartow, former President of the Jacksonville Chamber Foundation and former VP of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; Anna Nash, Beacon People in Birmingham; and Cindy Cole, Broker, CDPE and CIRS at Keller Williams Realty in Destin.
This year’s Women’s Symposium keynote speaker is Pegine (Peg-een) Echevarria, CEO of Team Pegine, Inc., a think tank, training and consulting, event management firm specializing in leadership, team building, inclusion engagement and training. Echevarria’s 11:30 a.m. program is centered around “Lead and Think Big”. Attendees will learn ten truths to take charge and change the way they think.
Between breakout sessions and the keynote presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to browse forty local vendors centered around women’s needs.
Registration and check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with a coffee bar and light breakfast fare. The 4th Annual Women’s Symposium will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. with welcoming remarks from Walton Area Chamber of Commerce CEO, Megan Harrison. Breakout sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and lunch, provided by Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Early bird registration is open until August 10, 2016. Early bird pricing is $85 for chamber members and $95 for non-members. After August 10 registration prices are $100 for chamber members and $110 for non-members. Interested individuals can register for the event by visiting http://bit.ly/
