Waves Still Movement Art Opening at Justin Gaffrey Gallery

Justin Gaffrey Gallery is hosting an art opening on Thursday, November 10 from 5:30-8pm to introduce a new series of works by Justin Gaffrey. Come out to meet the artist and see Gaffrey's sculpted paintings representing waves that are frozen in time. All are invited for a casual cocktail affair in the Blue Mountain Beach gallery.

Justin Gaffrey, South Walton’s signature acrylic and contemporary artist, has found deep connection with his new Wave Series of artwork. Justin’s paintings resemble the purity of the ocean water in which all coastal communities around the globe can relate.

“The drama of the crest is as if the wave is frozen in time and paint drips to show the realism of the scene,” says Gaffrey. “Waves crashing into the shores along the waters of the earth is a natural occurrence that many turn to reflect their own emotions of life. Waves can be soothing to the soul and sometimes they mirror the frustrations with hard crashes along the shoreline,” explains Gaffrey.

Justin Gaffrey uses heavy bodied acrylic paint to create the scenes of his emotions that also reflect in nature. Justin lives in Blue Mountain Beach along Scenic Hwy. 30A. He explores the waters with boards, boats and rods. But the one thing he loves the most is to be still in his natural setting and take in the ocean on a full scale. 

The Justin Gaffrey Gallery is open to the public Monday-Saturday 9am to 5pm. The gallery is located at 21 Blue Gulf Dr. just off Scenic Hwy. 30A in Blue Mountain Beach.
