YOLO invites all area standup paddleboarding enthusiasts to join the 9th Annual YOLO Board Relay Series scheduled for May 19, June 16, and July 21. Relay events will be held at The Bay restaurant starting at 4:30pm on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay.
The much anticipated annual series consists of team relay-style competition in three recreational divisions: men's, women's and coed. In addition, Special Olympics Florida-Walton County and Special Olympics Florida-Okaloosa County athletes will compete for the third year.
Each event will include race giveaways, live music, refreshments and special kids' activities.
Characterized by carefree and friendly competition, the series offers an opportunity for spectators to cheer on their favorite teams and learn more about the ever-growing watersport of SUP.
Each race series event will begin at 5:00 p.m. at The Bay, located at the foot of the 331 Bridge in South Walton, Florida. Everyone is invited to come out and cheer on your friends and enjoy an exciting afternoon on the shores of the bay.
