Your Guess is as Good as Mine! Raise your glasses to 6th annual Blind Wine event hosted by The Young Professionals at the Beach, October 8 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Seascape Resort Conference Center. Proceeds will benefit Food For Thought Outreach.
Teams of 1-3 individuals are asked to bring three identical bottles of unopened, room temperature, red wine. Upon arrival, two of the three bottles of wine will be wrapped in order to hide the label. The “blind” tasting will begin at 7 p.m. From 7–8 p.m. the tasting and voting takes place. At 8:30 p.m. votes will be tallied. The team with the most votes for their wine as favorite will be announced at 9 p.m. The winning team will take home all of the third unopened bottles from each team, which amounts to 25+ bottles!
The Blind Wine event is open to the public. Registration is $35 per person, or $105 for a team of 3. Admission includes signature event tasting glass, complimentary light hors d’oeuvres, beer, and entertainment by Austin Jennings. Their chosen charity for the Blind Wine event, Food For Thought, is a non-profit organization that provides backpacks filled with healthy food to help bridge the weekend gap for students who are dependent on free school meals.
