Ms Podraza,
Recently city council member Elizabeth Brannon submitted to the Walton county supervisor of elections office statements that indicate she " actively advocated in Tallahassee for Freeport debt resolution and home rule" and she was acting as a member if the Freeport City Council. Please provide all travel records, documentation of meetings, who she met with and the dates and times. She also states she " played an intregal part in Freeport being designated as a working waterfront community and as a rural area of opportunity". Please provide all documentation such as all public meetings Ms Brannon attended and any direct involvement such as emails and correspondence that indicate the "integral part" she played in that designation. As for the rural area of opportunity, it was originally all established in 2005, how exactly did Ms Brannon play an "integral role" in that designation? Please provide all supporting documentation proving Ms Brannon 's role in this. She "worked actively with legislators to ensure language was in the DOT bill that resulted in Freeport receiving a debt reduction of 1.1 million dollars". Please provide all travel logs, documentation, names of legislators, a copy of the DOT bill and all documentation of a debt reduction of 1.1 million dollarsto the city of Freeport. She claims her efforts advocating for infrastructure needs resulted in a 3.2 million dollar Senate appropriations for the city of Freeport water tie in project. As before, I am requesting any documentation that supports this statement, travel records, copy of meetings with legislators or the DOT, names , dates and times. I am certain someone who has done all that Ms Brannon claims will have no problem providing this documentation unlike other records that have disappeared.

Please provide minutes to the meetings, copies of solar power grant and documentation to support that Ms Brannon worked with the parks director to "help lower the electric bills".
Thank you,

Well John G, the price of $399.99 will get them working on answers! With no time line according to the city clerk. 20.43 an hour. Not sure why since Ms. Brannon should have the information, especially since it is what SHE submitted to the Walton County supervisor of elections.

Boy if we are going to start making every politician prove what they say in campaign literature we are going to spend a lot of money and invest a great deal of time.

It is unfortunate that politics in this county has devolved into seeing just how dirty and low you can go. I really hate anonymous attacks and wish we could stay on issues and keep personalities out of it.

So you sent a public record with no name on it. Where are they to send it and to who.

The following youtube video shows Freeport Council member Elizabeth Brannon discussing 2014 Transportation bill 218.

Obviously Council member Brannon's advocating for Freeport benefited the City since this bill is referred to as the "Freeport Bill".

B. Legal Matters
Attorney Adkinson discussed Senate Bill 218, a new bill being reviewed in the
Legislature pertaining to debt refunds/relocation of water lines; the procedure to
apply for the funding is not yet in place. The contact for the bill sponsor will
contact Clayton.
Councilwoman Brannon added that the FDOT Governmental Affairs Liaison had
recommended waiting a couple of months before applying.
Adkinson stated that the funding application covered the state but that the bill was
commonly known as the “Freeport Bill”.

I personally think Freeport should unincorporate . They have no law force, now firefighters,or rescue. The only thing they have is water and sewer. And from the reports I've read they should have there francise taken from them by regional in 2 years. They have no idea where there money is or where it was spent. Would like to see what there audit came up with.they where offered from county in meeting that they would pay for all of Brandon oaks to hook up to sewer. There council argued with them on this point. So at the next county meeting they didn't even bother to show up. So at that point the county gave them 145,000 or so of bond money for drainage that was meant for drainage. Which still hasn't been fixed.
