Looks like enough interest for me to commit to the permit wood and pit. I'm good Friday or Saturday! Grayton is kinda central and I have a permit...just need help if I get stuck. Only happened once but now I'm paranoid. I'll also bring some veggies, burgers and a grill. Cast you vote Friday...

I know it's a little cool but any interest in a beach gathering this weekend. I can get the permit and bring some firewood with me. Kinda short notice for a soiree but if there is interest post away. TT

I really like our quiet neighborhood and it is across from Butler (Beachview Heights) Its quiet the lots are very large for sowal (100 by 180) and in a good location for lots of things. People in the neighborhood keep to themselves but are respectful. Take a drive through and see what you think.

Grayton is very Nice and you may also want to check out Topsail Hill State Park. It is on the western end of CR-30A with a seafood market just down the road on HWY 98 and Stinkys about a mile down the road. They have a nice tram there that takes you from the campground to the beach also. Have...

Be there this weekend but will probably have a wetsuit on. My kids and I went the second week in december (with wetsuits) mine was a shorty and my legs were numb after about 15 minutes still refreshing though.

I was there for New Years and would have been crazy enough to go.....there is always next year!

Less than 10 days for beach access permits! This is discussed in another post, but I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this..... After a new ordinance goes in to effect in about 10 DAYS: NO NEW BEACH ACCESS PERMITS WILL BE PROVIDED/ALLOWED Those who want the ability to drive on...

Too far? I was at the meeting and had the impression that they don't want permits and this is their way of getting rid of them. They said they would be able to revisit it in the future should the need arise, but my opinion (for what that's worth) is that they don't want them at all. :shock...

I think dunelaker summed it up pretty well but I think I might replace some of the less known lakes with some local business. B&A, Stinky's Etc.
