I guess that I'm one of your neighbors. It would bother me if they block foot traffic. That would hurt our property values a lot. I did heard this from a very good source, while downing a martini at Cafe 30A last night.

I just heard fresh rumblings that Seaside is about to permanently block access from Grove Street and Forest Street. I know they tried this twice before, but this time they might get their way. Does anyone have any information about this? I'm not sure if they're trying to stop both pedustrians...

I believe that the new home on the northeast corner of Tupelo and Grove in Seaside has a full basement. I heard that part of it is going to be a wine cellar.

Tupelo Street has attracted some strange birds. Most are elderly women. I'm sorry to hear this. I bought a small Olympus camera several years ago for my wife. It was the worst camera that we ever owned. The pictures were dark and had a deep blue tint. We finally trashed it and bought a Canon (it's great).

We moved into our house in July 2000. Construction on the Hilton house stared before we began to build.

My cousin uses it to place calls from his condo in Central America back to the US. He loves it.

I'm a Florida resident and I sold a lot in NC last year. I had to pay NC state income tax on the capital gain from the sale (luckly, there was a gain). If you sell a property in NC you'll have to pay the state roughly 6% of any gain.

There's quite a bit of new construction in our neighborhood. That's encouraging.

I don't know of any new development. Just more and more properties in trouble. Posting was a lot more fun when things were booming. There are a few new homes under construction close to Seaside, though.:idontno:

My Alltel service has gotten a lot better recently in Old Seagrove. I can even use the phone without having to walk out to the street.
