Good luck to you! We sold a lot we owned for 20 yrs for our retirement. One reason was the cost of building is triple what it is in other beachside communities and also finding a reputable builder is extremely difficult. Jim Tucker's advise is spot on.

My understanding is no tent larger than 8x8 & highly unlikely that you could put up a badminton net. It's 30A.

I used to love riding my bike through Patrone's. The little shops, the parrots and the palapa.

How bout using some of those tax $ on converting all homes from septic to sewer that are along the beach or coastal dune lakes?

All the reasons that we bought a lot in Grayton 18 years ago to retire. Still have the lot but all the places we love are gone! Patrone's and Criolla's were our favorites! Back to the drawing board!

Double red flags at Grayton.

The reason the Fecal Pollution is so high is because large homes that rent to large groups on the coastal dune lakes are still on septic. Grayton Beach, Gulf Trace, etc. Should be mandated that all homes on coastal dune lakes connect to sewer.

Bring your groceries, don't go out to eat, park your car and don't get back in it til you have to leave. Prepare for an 8 hr. drive rather than 6. Enjoy!
