Hello ,just wondering if anybody has real update on reopening?. I have called 2 times in Last month and been given 2 different dates weeks apart and neither happened. Fb has no recent post...and on door of library it has question mark. I know about duct issues but any info would be appreciated.

As I was just informed by phone call with library ,the library WAS supposed to open on9/10. . Due to addl duct work that had to be installed, NEW date is Oct 1 ...meeting rooms are open. Let's hope that comes to fruition.

Any idea of reopening of Coastal Branch Library? It was supposed to open on /9/10/2018 ,stopped by 9/11/2018 and sign on door was crossed out with no new date listed. There was bookmobile on premises though. Thx!

Think confusion here... I was replying to customary use issue. Not beach chair rental... And no only seems combative on 30 a .. Them posts about chairs...been that way for couple yrs no changes there

I respectfully disagree with kaydence..been following closely. I'm local and don't see big change in destin or Miramar beach area....while I know this issue applies to all of us and we all want access to all our beaches ,it seems right now biggest disputes are in 30 a area

I agree these beach vendors really block the view of our beautiful beaches... I have lived in other coastal communities and while some have had beach vendors, NONE have ever had a picket fence set up where you can't see or walk through...sad

I also think that the beach vendor should be responsible for picking what trash or other items left if any by renter of chairs...as a goodwill gesture at the very least.i have witnessed the vendors employees step right on trash as they remove chairs and umbrellas at end of day. And yes I get my...

I have recently retired and have moved to this beautiful area..I have lived at various coastal locations with some quite a bit more populated then here..I am shocked and dismayed by the sheer amount of trash and items left on the beach at the end of the day...i.e. Umbrellas , chairs ,trash, ...

I agree with the beach vendor issue ..lived in many coastal areas .I have never seen anything like it is here.
