I haven't read all the responses but I say move the chairs to make necessary room. If no one arrives in a reasonable amount of time, take them down and stack them. They don't own the beach.

These are all great! I will add... You remember Zeal's Grocery Store in Santa Rosa Beach. You went to Pt. Washington First Methodist when Helen Butler played the piano. You slept with no airconditioning for 30+ years and loved it. Oh yea, Patrones!

So thankful to Bets and proud of my Dad, Brown Pinkston, one of the "Friends". Grayton Beach is indeed a very special place.

Made the trip many, many, many times and always went through Hattiesburg, Little Rock, Ft. Smith and on to the OKC and south to Norman. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. And sorry but go sooners.

I think cilantro tastes like plastic and I prefer to not have it in my food. However, I do eat it as it seems to be in every recipe under the sun at present. : )

Yes, anywhere in Grayton is a great place to stay. I have a friend who has a house with an elevator behind/next to the Red Bar. Pitty Pat's Porch. You can find it on VRBO.

That is a great story. I love the picture of their house on Grayton. Makes me sad to think of ALL the houses there now, but Grayton will always be beautiful!
