If you drove around during school hours or spring break (which was March) then there wouldn't be many kids in any of the neighborhoods. 2 neighborhoods I know have kids are Driftwood and Escada. I'm not sure about others.

When were you looking at the neighborhoods? (time of day/year) Spring break was a few weeks ago - could you have been looking while people were out of town? What areas were you looking through?

Just posted on FB that when my kids went to Butler there was a walking field trip every spring to Topsail. I can't remember what grade it was but maybe 4th or 5th grade. It was a nice walk, although hot, and the kids did learn something & had fun. Not sure if that has changed in recent years.

At the county office building on 331 there is a box to out flags in for proper disposal. I'm not sure who does it tho.

I don't know if I can handle driving to seaside for pick up in the afternoon for another week or so. Ive never seen traffic so backed up at 3:00 driving into seaside.
