Telluride MountainFilm on Tour returns to WaterColor on the big screen under the stars in the WaterColor Marina Park. Showtimes are 7-10 pm and gates open at 6 pm both nights, with a different program each night. Tickets are $25 per person for one night and $40 per person for two nights; kids 5-12 are ? off, and free to children under five. Lawn seating — bring blankets and lawn chairs. Special children’s screening area on site at the event featuring age-appropriate movies. www.mountainfilm.org

Well, you know that WaterColor toyed with the idea of converting the Boat House into a place for arts and music. Last I heard, they changed their minds and were going to rent it out for parties, as a banquet room on the water. A couple of weeks ago, they had pulled the boats and big storage racks, and were rolling in plates on dollies. Haven't heard any more about the arts, but as long as they have the people in town, they should do something in the daytime to connect with the Film Fest at night.
