30a St Patricks Parade and Festival is coming up Saturday, March 17! Join the whole South Walton community for the St Patricks Parade along Scenic 30A followed by the St Patricks Festival at Arnett's featuring the O'Mericans, Drake School of Irish Dance, Green Beer and family activities all afternoon. For more information to enter the parade head over to www.30aparade.com. Purhase tickets to the festival online: $5 kids and $10 adults.

Whether you're 100% Irish or just Irish at heart, St. Patricks Day is a big celebration at the beach. The Parade takes place along Scenic Hwy 30A commencing from the east end of The Preserve in Blue Mountain Beach and heading west to Gulf Place. The Festival starts after the parade at 3pm at Arnett's Gulfside Trails & Stables (613 County Road 393). Live music and entertainment for everyone. Kids can participate in activities such as pony rides, giant slides, face painting and more. Adult fun includes green beer! The festival will also have food vendors, artisans and a magic show.

UPDATE: 30A St Patricks Day Parade & Festival Mar 17

Everyone is Irish on St Patrick's Day, and where better to be green, is at the largest St Patrick's celebration on Florida's Emerald Coast, the 30A St Patrick's Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 17. The parade kicks off at at 2pm and the festival at 3pm at Arnett's Gulfside Farm and Stables, Santa Rosa Beach. The entertainment after the parade will start with the Drake School of Irish dance, followed by an afternoon of Irish jigs and reels with The O'Mericans.

There will be an array of activities for the kids and adults, including face painting, best dressed pet, Best Redhead (girl) Best pirate (boy), 30ft Slides, and much more. Food vendors with traditional corned beef and cabbage and green beer will be available.

Ticket prices begin at - $10 for adults, kids are $5 each, kids 4 and under are free. Available now at www.30aparade.com. Sponsor and vendor spaces also available on the website.

The 11ith Annual parade already has large float "Krewes" and other exotic floats have already entered the parade. It begins on Florida Scenic Highway 30a and heads 4 miles west, ending at county road 393 near Gulf Place. Walton County Commissioner Tony Anderson will be this year's Grand Marshal.

"Every year surpasses the previous in imaginaltion and effort in decorating the various parade entries," said Paul Vizard, event founder. "To see the faces of joy on the kids and spectators is just fantastic, I am very grateful for the support of our sponsors and the community."

The Best in Parade perpetual trophy is up for grabs for the best decorated car, trucks or floats, won last year by ResortQuest by Wyndham Vacation rentals. Festival goers can purchase commemorative T shirts, experience arts and crafts, kids activities, face painting, and of course a variety of food and drinks.
