Baytowne Provisions opened this week in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. This is the newest restaurant by award-winning and nationally recognized chef Jim Shirley. In addition to their traditional and specialty grilled cheese sandwiches that you love from The Melt Down on 30A, Baytowne Provisions will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual, family-friendly environment.

The Baytowne Melt just closed and owners moved the newly named restaurant/market Baytowne Provisions over to former Funky Blues Shack spot. The space is extensively renovated and is large enough for restaurant, bar, upstairs deck and later this summer you'll find everyday groceries, food to go and fresh goods at their general store.

They’ll be open every day, and also have accommodations for private events.

SoWal artist Andy Saczynski recently created some beautiful pieces for Baytowne Provisions! This is the third time Andy's art appears in one of Jim's restaurants. (You may have also seen Andy's work in The Bay and 45 Central.). Read Andy's recent blog to see his art up close. I love these pieces!

Can't wait to visit this restaurant and food market in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. It's near Sushi Rocks - another favorite spot of ours in the Village.
